Do you have an idea for making your neighborhood better?  The Richmond People's Budget wants to hear from you.

Starting last week, we have been connecting with people from all over Richmond to ask a very simple question - How would you improve your neighborhood?

We have heard lots of amazing ideas. This includes pool improvements in Randolph and water fountains in Fulton, depaving sidewalks to plan trees on the East End to beautification projects on the Southside. Each of these ideas has a story and a dream for what Richmond can become. All are rooted in the vision and knowledge of those that live, work, and study in Richmond.

So, how can you share your idea?

There at two ways - online and in person.

Submit an idea online

For those with a phone or a computer, the effort is pretty simple.

1) Click on the big orange PARTICIPATE button at the top of the page.

2) On the next page, select "Submit an Idea" to respond in English or "Coleccion de ideas" to share idea in Spanish.

3) Share some contact info, your idea, the location of the idea, the category, and a bit more info so we make sure we are reaching all of Richmond.

4) Finally, Click the Submit button.

Submit an idea in person

For those that like paper, we also have that option.

1) Go to your local library or stop by the first floor of City Hall.

2) Find the RVAPB Idea Box and the Idea Card.

3) Get an idea card. Fill the front out with your idea and where it would take place. On the back, share some information.

4) Drop the card in the box.

No matter what way you decide, your idea will be added to the growing list of ideas we are hearing from others in Richmond.
